The hand-stenciled pattern of evergreens and berries on this PNW Collection Yew’re My Huckleberry Ornament remind me of picking huckleberries and wandering in the woods as a child. Part of a tiny batch (only three of these ornaments were created) these Limited Edition 2020 Ornaments are signed and finished with a lovely velvet ribbon.  The perfect gift for the ornament collector, or a beautiful addition to your own tree.

Each ornament was handmade from a slab of porcelain clay, then refined at the “bone dry” stage through buffing/sanding.  After firing, the piece is cleaned, underglazes are painted or stenciled in aesthetically pleasing arrangements, and a clear glaze is applied.  When the clear glaze has dried, wax is used to cover and protect the design while the rest of the piece is glazed.
