This piece was wheel thrown or hand-built with porcelain clay, then refined through trimming/sanding, and fired.  A hand-stenciled underglaze pattern is then applied, covered in clear glaze, waxed for protection, and the rest of the piece is glazed.

This piece is lead free and food safe. It can be microwaved and washed in the dishwasher. However, as with any special and delicate item, not exposing it to hot/cold extremes, and hand-washing is the kinder option.
